Sein hoher Schmelz\u00adpunkt von rund <span class=\"nowrap\">3000 \u00b0C<\/span> und seine Korrosions\u00adbest\u00e4ndig\u00adkeit machen es zu einem begehrten Werk\u00adstoff in der Chemie\u00adindustrie und Medizin\u00adtechnik. So werden mit dem grauen Metall chemikalien\u00adbest\u00e4ndige Gef\u00e4\u00dfe und Leitungen beschichtet und medizi\u00adnische Implantate und Instru\u00admente herge\u00adstellt.<\/p>\n<p>Das Haupt\u00adanwendungs\u00adgebiet liegt jedoch im Bereich Elektronik. Als namens\u00adgebender Bestand\u00adteil von Tantal-Konden\u00adsatoren erm\u00f6glicht es durch seine besonderen elektrischen Eigen\u00adschaften die Konstruk\u00adtion von Bauteilen, die bei geringem Volumen eine sehr hohe elektrische Kapazit\u00e4t besitzen. Das Metall steht daher im Verdacht, teilweise zur Finanzierung kriegerischer Auseinander\u00adsetzungen in Zentral\u00adafrika genutzt zu werden und das tantalhaltige Ausgangserz Coltan wird grunds\u00e4tzlich als Konflikt\u00admineral eingestuft.<\/p>\n<p>Ebenso proble\u00admatisch ist das Recyc\u00adling von Tantal aus elektro\u00adnischen Altger\u00e4ten. Da es im herk\u00f6mm\u00adlichen pyrometal\u00adlurgischen Recycling nicht zur\u00fcck\u00adgewonnen wird, liegt die Recycling\u00adrate von Tantal in diesem Bereich bei unter einem Prozent. Dieser Proble\u00admatik stellt sich das Forschungs\u00advorhaben IRETA 2, das vom Ministerium f\u00fcr Bildung und Forschung mit rund 875.000 \u20ac im Rahmen der \u201eKMU-Inno\u00advations\u00adoffen\u00adsive Ressourcen- und Energie\u00adeffizienz\u201c <span class=\"nowrap\">gef\u00f6r\u00addert wird.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper. Dabei werden die Bauteile anhand optischer Merkmale automa\u00adtisiert erkannt und mittels Laser pr\u00e4zise von der Leiter\u00adplatte abgetrennt. \u00dcber mecha\u00adnische und chemische Aufbe\u00adreitung soll am Ende der Prozess\u00adkette markt\u00adf\u00e4higes Tantal <span class=\"nowrap\">produziert werden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich wird Silber, das in den Tantal-Konden\u00adsatoren ebenfalls enthalten ist, vom Tantal separiert und zur\u00fcck\u00adgewonnen. Schon heute kommen Brenn\u00adstoff\u00adzellen, vor allem Polymer-Elektrolyt-Membran-Brenn\u00adstoff\u00adzellen (PEMFC) in wasser\u00adstoff\u00adbetrie\u00adbenen Auto\u00admobilen zum Einsatz.<\/p>\n<p>Mit der steigenden Verbrei\u00adtung dieser Techno\u00adlogie wird sp\u00e4tes\u00adtens 2030 eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Menge dieses Brenn\u00adstoffzellen\u00adtyps sein Lebens\u00adende erreicht haben. Aufgrund des hohen Anteils an wert\u00advollen Techno\u00adlogie\u00admetallen und \u00f6kolo\u00adgischen Betrach\u00adtungen, ist ein effizientes Recycling von in PEM-Brenn\u00adstoff\u00adzellen enthal\u00adtenen Materia\u00adlien notwendig. Dazu wird zun\u00e4chst ein Prozess zur Vorzerle\u00adgung entwickelt, um Bauteile wie elektrische Anschl\u00fcsse oder Kabel zu entnehmen.<\/p>\n<p>Zur weiteren selektiven Zerkleine\u00adrung kommt die elektro\u00adhydrau\u00adlische Zerklei\u00adnerung (EHZ) zum Einsatz.\u00a0Dabei werden die vorzerklei\u00adnerten Baugruppen in einen mit Wasser gef\u00fcllten Reaktor gegeben und mittels Schockwellen (durch elektrische Entladung erzeugte Druck\u00adwellen) material\u00adselektiv zerkleinert. Die erhaltenen Metall\u00adfraktionen k\u00f6nnen anschlie\u00dfend \u00fcber etablierte metallur\u00adgische Aufbereitungs\u00adverfahren effizient aufbereitet werden.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
